what is community based treatment?
We are providers with the Children's System of Care (CSOC) through the state of New Jersey. This means that youth involved in certain state based organizations can qualify for short term in home (IIC) therapeutic services.
WHY "IN HOME"?
Why not? It takes a village to raise a child! In today's technology based world we often forget the value of community. Engaging youth in their environment is a very effective way of facilitating change. It addresses problematic areas of life at their root. When services are long gone, community remains. Being linked to strength based hobbies, interests and recreations provides youth the relationships and coping skills they need to develop a positive sense of self, grow and thrive.
