A therapist by trade, I have over 10 years experience working in various settings including in home, office based, correctional facilities, & outpatient programs. My experience is diverse with regards to setting and population served. I have successfully worked with individuals who are motivated for treatment and others who may be initially indifferent or directly opposed to it. I was a Professor at Monmouth University and am an active member of The Social Work Advisory Council at the University since 2019. You see, as a psychotherapist I’m forced to over analyze, problem solve and assess using linguistics. I have to find words to express myself and teach others to do the same. As a trainer, I am able to take that same process and convey it through movement. It’s an amazing process to help and heal through a multitude of approaches that compliment one another. Who's ready for change? I feel that I best gravitate towards adults and adolescents who are motivated and eager to begin making improvements in their mental health and overall health. My personality is informal, welcoming and funny in nature. I find exercising to be so stress relieving and I bring this outlook into creating total wellness goals with the individuals I work with. I have experience working in school based services and as a group therapist for adolescent girls. I was an athlete growing up playing football, basketball and running track. I had a brief stint as a collegiate runner at Rowan University, where I then took up MMA at the age of 19. I trained at Balance Studios learning Muay Thai and Gracie Jiu Jitsu from world renowned instructors of the immediate Gracie Family. I competed and placed in Jui Jitsu North American Grappling Association (NAGA) tournaments. I trained in the sport of boxing at Philly’s Next Champ. At the age of 23, I transitioned fully to boxing, where I became a devoted practitioner. I internalized the different mitt work styles while working under world renowned Olympic Boxer, Coach Dustin Enriquez. Day in and day out I spent time boxing, sparring, and holding mitts. It essentially became a lifestyle. I use boxing as a way for me to shape individuals into athletes and get them punching like pros. With a Mayweather-Esque style of mitt work, I push individuals to achieve their high potential and ensure they walk away feeling at the very least 1% better than they did before they came.

Growing up in Ocean Township, New Jersey, being athlete felt like a requirement. I’ve ran track, played football, & wrestled my entire adolescent & teenage years. Not only for myself but for those around me, as I gained a love for teaching and instilling a healthy lifestyle to everyone. I have instructed under world renowned Olympic Boxer, Coach Dustin Enriquez, and have been coaching ever since.
