I appreciate and value each person who has the courage to engage in the therapeutic process. I believe that all of us have different and unique needs, and so, I individualize my approach to therapy depending on what those needs are. I typically practice using a combination of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, but I am passionate about taking a Humanistic Approach. Meaning, I want to assist my clients in the development of a healthier sense of self, including a sense of safety and purpose in life. I share many of my own self-care practices with my clients, including journaling, meditation, and aromatherapy. I am a New Jersey Licensed Social Worker, and a Certified School Counselor. I have worked in homes, schools, and outpatient settings with children, adolescents, and adults. I have an extensive background in end-of-life counseling, and supportive grief counseling. My ideal client is you! I practice unconditional positive regard for everyone I work with, and I enjoy assisting people in the activation of change.
